Big Banyan Tree is a picnic spot around 15 kms from Bangalore on Bangalore- Mysore Highway. From highway you have to take a right turn and it is 3-4 kms away. It is worth going for one time. Sprawled in big area this is a 400 year Old Banyan Tree and third most oldest in country after Andhrapradesh & Kolkata. It's a nature wonder and really interesting to find "which one is original tree". Take care some monkeys are also there to give u company. You can club this while going to Wonderla or Innovative Film City or Mysore.
