Somnathpur , a small village , on bank of Kaveri revier around 35 kms from Mysore, has a small wonder called Keshava Tempel more famous as Somnath Temple. Built in 13th century this tempel is one of best Hoysala Tempels. Splended architectural beauty, fine carving, elevated platform, pillars & idols who are ready to speak anytime. I consider it as one of our cultural heritage that must be shown to world and known to every Indian. Road is bad but destination is worth going. Neatly maintained lawn adds to its beauty.
